About Victorian Kookaburras Baseball Tours Inc

In 2014 a group of ‘Baseball Parents’ who collectively had previously been involved in a number of international baseball tours, identified that no Victorian based U15 / U16 tour was being offered in 2015.  Ultimately having explored various options on how such a tour could be undertaken the group incorporated Victorian Kookaburras Baseball Tour Inc as registered Association (Association No, A0061855A).

 

An U15 / U16 tour was established, a team selected of 16 players, the tour was sanctioned by Baseball Australia and the team toured in July 2015.

 

The Victorian Kookaburras returned in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and commenced training for the 2020 sixth annual tour which was cancelled in March 2020 due to COVID-19.

 

The Victorian Kookaburras restarted post COVID in September 2023 with try-outs for the 2024 tour.

The Victorian Kookaburras Alumni is now over 120 players, with a number having pursued a goal of securing a place at college in the USA.

 

Leveraging the experience gained on previous international tours, relationships built internationally and with a commitment to attract experienced coaches Victorian Kookaburra Baseball Tours has the benefit of experienced tour leaders to ensure a safe, fun and skills building experience on and off the diamond for all players and family.

Try Outs are held in September, 14U and 16U teams selected in October with 50plus hours of Skills and Fitness training running from November to June with the teams spending two week in the USA in July.
