2nd Annual Tour - July 2016

USA Touring Teams

Following the success of the July 2015 tour Victorian Kookaburras Baseball tours toured with three teams to the USA in July 2016.

 

The 2016 Tour

 

A touring party of 38 players and 10 coaches and officials departed Melbourne in July 2016 and be in the USA for two weeks.

 

The tour was sanctioned by Baseball Australia.

 

The teams trevelled together with a mix of fun and training while in Dallas before travelling to Myrtle Beach where the players stayed with Host Families and competed in Ripken Myrtle Surfs Up Tournament.

  U15/U16 Teams - Two Practice Games against local team

  All - Texas Rangers MLB Game (Evening)

 

Friday 8 July 2016 (Myrtle Beach) - Players with Host Families

  All - Travel to Myrtle Beach 

  All - Baseball Store Shopping

  All - Light Training

  All - Welcome Function Meet Host Families

 

Saturday 9 July 2016 (Myrtle Beach) - Players with Host Families

  U14 - Practice Game / Light Training

  U15/U16 - Practice Hame

  All - Afternoon Free

 

Sunday 10 July 2016 (Myrtle Beach) - Players with Host Families

  All - Ripken Myrtle Beach Opening Ceremony & Skills Competition

 

Monday 11 July (Myrtle Beach) - Players with Host Families

  All - Day One Ripken Tournament
